IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is an assisted reproductive technique where eggs are retrieved from the ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a laboratory cleanroom. The resulting embryo is cultured and transferred into the uterus.
Approximately 3 to 6 weeks from the beginning of medication and ovarian stimulation to egg retrieval, fertilization, embryo transfer, and the subsequent pregnancy test.
